Autism System Development
The Autism Systems Development Program seeks to advance, educate and empower the lives of individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Utah by monitoring occurrence, reducing the age at first diagnosis, referring to services, facilitating research, and providing education and outreach.
The Office:
- Hosts the Utah Autism Initiative (UAI) Committee, a multi-agency workgroup
- Funds the Utah Registry for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (URADD)
- URADD collects and reports prevalence data on Utah Children with ASD and other developmental disabilities
- The University of Utah, Department of Psychiatry, manages the collection and analysis of URADD data.
- Chairs the URADD Oversight Committee to review all proposals using URADD data.
